How we look after your information.
We only collect what we need to take your order and deliver it, and we never sell it.

What we collect when you order
Your name or business name, phone number, email address (if you give one), delivery address and town, the day you want, your notes, and what you ordered. If you message us on WhatsApp, we also see your WhatsApp name and number.
Why we use it
To prepare, weigh, deliver or hand over your order, to contact you about it (by phone, WhatsApp or email), to send you a copy of your order or invoice, and to keep our business accounts. We never sell it.
Offers on WhatsApp
Only if you tick "Send me JDJR Farms offers on WhatsApp" at checkout, we may now and then send you offers and news on WhatsApp. Reply STOP (or tell us any other way) and we won't send any more. We never pass your number to anyone else for marketing.
"Tell me when it's back"
If a cut is sold out and you ask us to tell you when it's back, we keep your name and the email or WhatsApp number you give, and use them only to tell you once it's on sale again. We tell you once, and if it isn't back within four months we drop the request.
Your account (optional)
If you make an account on our website, we keep your email address and the details you choose to save for the checkout (name, phone, delivery or collection, area and address), and show you the orders placed with that email. To sign in we email you a code; we keep only a scrambled copy of it, and it stops working after 15 minutes. Your browser keeps a sign-in key until you sign out (or for 90 days without use). You can delete your account at any time on the My account page; your past orders stay in our records for our accounts.
Who can see it
Our own staff who handle orders. Our website and order system are hosted by service providers, and order emails pass through our email provider, who process the information only to provide those services. Messages you send on WhatsApp are also covered by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for our accounts and as the law requires, and then delete them.
On your own device
So you don't lose your order while browsing, the items you add and the contact details you type at checkout are saved in your own browser (not on our servers) until you place the order. You can remove saved details at any time with "Forget my saved details" on the checkout page, or by clearing your browser's data.
Visitor statistics
To see which pages are useful, we count visits without cookies. We record the page viewed, the website you came from (just its name, such as google.com), the kind of device (phone, tablet or computer) and whether checkout was started. We do not record your IP address or anything that identifies you, and we use no advertising trackers. If your browser is set to "Do Not Track", nothing is counted.
Fonts
The website's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google when you open a page.
Your rights
Under Jamaica's Data Protection Act, you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. Call or email us and we will help. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can contact the Office of the Information Commissioner.
Changes
If we change how we use your information we will update this page. Last updated 26 October 2026.
